One of the highlights of the Louvre's collection is this enchanting sculpture of the Venus de Milo.

The natural light enhances the delicate beauty of this sculpture of the goddess of love, Aphrodite.  Created by a Hellenic workshop, this life size figure was found on the island of Melos in 1820.
